Why Bee Manager exists
Every beekeeper starts with a notebook. The notebook gets soggy in the rain. Pages tear. The pen runs out halfway through Hive 4. Six weeks later you cannot remember which colony you treated, when the queen was replaced, or whether that varroa count was actually trending up.
The software alternatives were either spreadsheet kits sold on Etsy or commercial platforms built for almond pollinators with 5,000 hives. Nothing fit a hobbyist or sideliner who just wanted to walk into the apiary, tap through an inspection in five minutes, and have it remembered properly.
So one Sunday after losing two colonies that probably should have been treated, the decision was made to build the tool that should have existed. Bee Manager is that tool. Mobile-first. Offline. Fast. Honest about what it does and does not know.
