Terms of Service

1. Who we are

Bee Manager is operated by Daniel Hall, a sole trader based in New South Wales, Australia. When these terms say “we”, “us”, or “Bee Manager”, that is who is meant.

2. The service

Bee Manager is a beekeeping inspection log: a web app that records your apiaries, hives, queens, inspections, treatments, harvests, and related data. Access is provided either by annual subscription or by a one-time lifetime license.

3. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your password safe and for the accuracy of the data you enter. Bee Manager is a record-keeping tool, not veterinary or biosecurity advice. You remain responsible for complying with the laws in your jurisdiction, including the notification of diseases like American Foulbrood (AFB) and European Foulbrood (EFB) where required.

4. Pricing and refunds

• Annual plan: $29.99 per year (Australian dollars), billed yearly.
• Lifetime license: $99 one-time payment.
• 14-day free trial. No credit card required to start.
• 30-day money-back guarantee. If Bee Manager is not for you, email us within 30 days of purchase and we will refund you in full.
• Cancel anytime from Settings. Annual plans do not auto-renew if cancelled.

5. About the lifetime license

A lifetime license covers the lifetime of the product and the operator. In plain English: you pay once and you keep using Bee Manager for as long as we keep running it. If we shut Bee Manager down, you will get advance notice and a final export of all your data in standard formats. Lifetime does not mean “forever in perpetuity regardless of what happens to the operator”. We are being honest about that up front.

6. Acceptable use

• Do not scrape, mirror, or republish the service.
• Do not resell access to other people.
• Do not abuse, threaten, or harm other users or our staff.
• Do not use the service to break the law.

7. Your data

You own your data. Always. You can export it at any time. We do not sell it, mine it, or share it beyond the third parties listed in our Privacy Policy.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

The service is provided as-is. We will work hard to keep it reliable, accurate, and useful, but we do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for any particular purpose. The AI queen detection is a helpful suggestion, not a guarantee.

9. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Bee Manager is not liable for hive losses, business losses, lost profits, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability to you in any 12-month period is capped at the fees you paid us in that period. Nothing in these terms limits any consumer guarantee you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any dispute will be handled by the courts of New South Wales.

11. Changes to these terms

We will give you at least 30 days notice by email before any material change takes effect. If you do not agree, you can cancel and (within the refund window) request a refund.
